BlowerDoor

Heat loss and leakage are two closly related subjects. A blowerdoor test creates airflow through leaks in the buildings exterior surphases via over- and underpressure. The test is therefore perticularly suited for combination with thermal imaging as leaks appears clearer than can be archived with conventional thermal imaging.

Thermal imaging uses infrared radiation to efficiently display any thermal bridges and leakages in the building envelope.
A building thermography provides an overview of where the need for insulation most effektift can be implemented. It's always a good idea to seal existing leaks before a new layer of insulation is installed, thereby maximizing the effect of the insulation. |
